If a body gets dehydrated, it will lead to so many problems in our body like heat strokes, diarrhoea, vomiting etc. To get escape from these issues, one should always carry a water bottle with them wherever they go. Even if you don’t get thirsty, drink water to keep your body cool. Loss of water makes several health-related problems. Drinking too much water might be very boring. To make it delightful you can some flavours in plain water such as cucumber, lemon and some mints. You can also have a lots of fresh juices, lemonade etc. It is very easy to find a supermarket in nook and corner of the metropolitan city UAE. So whenever you get down from your house, buy some juices and drink it while driving, walking, jogging, and so on. Keep on checking your urine colour. The table given below shows the different colours of urine and the symptoms of it. Observe keenly the colour and drink plenty of water.

2. Care your beautiful skin:

Caring your skin is the main part of maintaining a good health. Always apply sunscreen lotions while going out. Face is the most sensitive skinned area other than the skin of the other body parts. So to avoid sunburns, gently apply a sunscreen lotion with SPF minimum range of 30. Sensitive skin persons can’t really get well with the UAE’s summer. So those kinds of people must apply sunscreen lotions at least two times in a day. Avoid taking your children outside during peak times (say 12.00p.m – 3.00p.m) for less exposing to augmented temperatures. Take bathe twice a day to reduce body heat. UAE people are used to fill the bucket a day earlier and uses it next day due to the boiling hot water flows out from the tap. Never uses the hot water directly from the tap for after toilet purpose.

3. Say hi! To cotton:

We should wear only cotton clothes and light coloured clothes during summer season. Because we sweat a lot in summer and if wear some other fabric such as polyester, crepe during these days, it is highly possible to get skin rashes because of a particular yeast which causes rashes to occur due to excessive sweating.  Cotton is a good absorber of water and thus it absorbs sweat from our body and evaporates it faster. Nowadays we don’t get a single excuse to exclude cotton as so many designs are available now in cotton fabrics like how we got in other materials. Even we can get the latest abaya (“burqah” which is very commonly seen among Muslim countries like UAE) collections in cotton.  Health and trend, two in one are available in cotton clothes. So utilize it properly.

Some of the common symptoms of bad clothing choice are

  • Excessive sweating
  • Bad odour

Hot summer makes everyone to stay in air-conditioned place for sure. As we get out from our house, we go in an AC car. Then our workplace or any other places like shopping malls, stores, pharmacies, etc., wherever we go, UAE never forgets to fill the space with AC. But it is not good and healthy to stay in AC for all the time. Excessive use of anything is not good for anyone. In terms of AC, it can lead to several diseases, various health problems which are listed below.

  • AC can temporarily affect the number of healthy blood cells in the body.
  • Hair loss
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Sore mouth and taste changes
  • Bladder irritation
  • Tiredness

It has become that we cannot survive in this world without AC and refrigerator which is otherwise known as slow-poison. We can’t completely get rid of these electronics but we can rather come out of it for some time. Whenever you get time, go to the park in evenings and get some fresh air. Arrange for a hilly trip for a vacation where you can get a cool breeze.
