The UAE Telecommunications and Regulatory Authority (TRA) recently posted a warning to consumers on its Twitter handle.
The warning reads, “Retweet and contribute to raising awareness against spammers.
“Be careful when receiving messages from unknown senders. Do not click on such links and be sure to ignore them.”
The tweet shows an example of such a message, with numbers and some text given with a link inserted at the bottom.
The CERT team continues its efforts to raise awareness regarding spam incidents and cyber crime methods.
